A big shout-out to Andres Felipe Munar Lancheros, Igor Bohry, and Joao Vitor Andre Lopes! This was our first time using a removalist company for our move from Sydney to Newcastle, and these guys were fantastic. I highly recommend hire a mover!!!! Yesterday we started moving at 12:00, two men were very strong and efficient, pushing six 104 liter boxes at a time on a trolley. Are the storage solutions intended for short-term or long-term?

Our storage solutions are suitable for those seeking both short-term and long-term storage options. However, we require 48 hours notice for access to your storage, making it an impractical solution for those that require frequent access to their belongings.

One month’s advance payment is required, and any unused time will regrettably be forfeited.

Our solutions are well-suited to those that are downsizing homes, moving overseas, or in between properties.

How do I access my storage?

If you wish to vacate our storage facilities permanently, please call us on 1300 358 700 whereby we will book in your collection and removal service.

If you simply wish to access your belongings but still continue to store your items, then please call us or send us an email outlining the time and date you would like access. Please note that we require 48 hours notice to ensure that your storage will be ready for access.

How are my items stored?

Your items are stored in secure wooden modules that are approximately 10 cubic meters in capacity. These modules are locked and are generally stacked on top of each other using a forklift.

What safety and security precautions do you take?

Our storage warehouses use state-of-the-art alarms and monitoring to keep your items safe.

How much storage do I need?

The modules are approximately 10 cubic meters internally. The module’s measurements are 2.6m long x 2.4m wide x 1.8m high.

Your items may be required to be stored in multiple modules depending on how many belongings you wish to store.

Do I need insurance?

We strongly recommend that you take out insurance for your belongings whilst they are in storage.

Many Home & Contents insurance policies cover items whilst in storage, or have the option of adding it as an extra to your standard policy. You should check all of this with your insurer.

If you are unable to gain storage insurance with your current insurer, we recommend contacting CARTS Removals & Storage Insurance for a quote.

What if I have oversize items?

If some of your items are large and don’t fit in our modules, we’re able to store select items in separate storage space.

There may be a small additional fee, which will be quoted upon your items arriving at our facility.
